About This Programme

Many of us already know how to meditate. We know how to sit quietly, follow the breath, and find a sense of calm. Yet in everyday life, when emotions arise, when something feels uncomfortable, or when things are unclear, it’s very easy to move away from ourselves without noticing. We stay busy, try to make sense of what we feel, or simply carry on.

We created Learning to Stay With Yourself as a practical and gentle invitation to slow down and learn something deeper: how to remain present with your own experience, when it isn’t easy.

This programme is not about changing yourself.
It’s about learning how to stay connected with yourself, honestly, kindly, and without forcing anything.


What to Expect -

This is a process-based meditation programme, rather than a technique-driven course. Meditation is used as a foundation for awareness, reflection, and inner contact.


Each weekly session includes:

  • Guided meditation
  • Gentle expressive and reflective practices
  • Time for quiet reflection and insight
  • Shared learning in a held, non-judgemental space

There is no pressure to share or speak. You are always welcome to take part in a way that feels right for you.


Who This Programme Is For

This programme may suit you if:

  • You already have some experience with meditation
  • You’re interested in bringing awareness into everyday life, not just formal practice
  • You value reflection, emotional awareness, and honest self-inquiry
  • You appreciate a calm, thoughtful, and supportive group environment


This is not about fixing problems or self-improvement. 

It’s about developing steadiness, clarity, and trust in your own inner experience.


Programme Structure

  • Length: 6 weeks
  • Frequency: Once a week
  • Time: 10am - 11:30 am 
  • Format: Live online via Zoom
  • Group size: Small, to allow depth and safety


Weekly Sessions:


Week 1 – Awakening our Inner Connection - What it means actually to be with yourself.

Week 2 – Listening Without Interpreting - Learning to notice experience without rushing to explain or analyse it.

Week 3 – Expression Without Justification - Exploring honest expression without over-explaining or defending.

Week 4 – Staying With Discomfort - Developing the capacity to remain present rather than avoiding or fixing.

Week 5 – Staying With Yourself in Relationships - Noticing how we lose contact with ourselves around others.

Week 6 – Integration Into Daily Life - Bringing this practice into everyday life experience.


Practical Information

You will need:

  • A quiet, comfortable space
  • A notebook or journal
  • Basic drawing materials (pen, pencil, colours)
  • Comfortable seating

No special equipment or prior artistic experience is needed.


Fees (Sliding Scale)

To keep the programme accessible, we offer a sliding-scale fee:

  • £150 – Supported rate
  • £180 – Standard rate
  • £210 – Supporter rate

You’re invited to choose the option that best reflects your current situation.


A Few Important Notes

  • This programme is not therapy and does not replace professional mental health support.
  • You are responsible for taking care of your own well-being during the sessions.
